Description

This idler arm assembly keeps the dryer drive belt under proper tension, so the drum turns smoothly. Replacing a worn idler restores belt tracking and reduces noise from a failing tensioner. What it does:

• Holds and tensions the dryer drive belt to maintain proper belt tracking
• Keeps the belt aligned on the drum and motor pulley to prevent slipping
• Worn or seized idler can cause squealing, grinding, or premature belt wear
