Description

The Smooth Handle Kit is an OEM part for GE refrigerators. The kit comes with both the freezer and fresh food door handles and is black in color. The handles measure approximately 19 inches by 3 3/4 inches.  Please note that the screws needed for installation are sold separately.

Symptoms of needing a new handle kit include:

• Handles that are cracked or broken
• Loose handles that do not secure properly to the door
• Worn or discolored handles that detract from the appearance of the refrigerator

Causes of handle degradation typically include mechanical stress from frequent use, accidental impacts, and environmental factors such as extreme temperatures or exposure to cleaning chemicals that can weaken the material over time.
