Description

The Water Inlet Valve is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool refrigerators. It regulates the supply of water to the ice maker and water dispenser features. Properly functioning valves are essential for reliably producing ice and dispensing filtered water.

Symptoms of a faulty inlet valve include:

• Ice maker or dispenser not working properly  
• Water leaking or spraying from the supply line connections
• Irregular water pressure when dispensing

Causes can involve mineral buildup overtime inhibiting flow control or a motor malfunctioning to switch the valve on and off. 

This replacement valve is also compatible with brands like Maytag, KitchenAid, and Jenn-Air. 

Note: If your original valve assembly had an additional connector bracket, the factory no longer includes that with the valve. The connector bracket can be ordered separately by ordering part# WPW10445062.
