Description

This agitator base is the lower section of the washer's agitator. It couples to the drive shaft to move clothes through water and detergent, restoring proper turnover and wash action when the original base is worn, cracked, or stripped.

• Provides the oscillating motion that circulates laundry and detergent for even cleaning
• Maintains proper connection and alignment with the drive shaft
• Helps reduce tangling by rolling clothes over during the wash
• Typical symptoms include no or weak agitation, clothes not circulating, or a wobbling agitator

What's included: 1 agitator base Install notes:

• Disconnect power to the washer before servicing
• Remove the fabric softener dispenser and agitator cap; remove the center agitator bolt and lift the agitator off the shaft
• Separate the old lower base from the upper section; install the new base, aligning splines, and seat fully
• Reinstall the bolt, cap, and dispenser; run a quick test cycle to ensure proper agitation
